Billing & Payment

💡 Key Points:

  • All payments processed securely through Stripe

  • Monthly plans billed monthly in advance

  • Annual plans billed annually with discount

  • Payment due immediately upon subscription activation

  • You are responsible for applicable taxes

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew for the same term length unless cancelled. Monthly subscriptions renew monthly; annual subscriptions renew annually.

Failed Payments

If payment fails, we will attempt to process payment again. After multiple failed attempts, your account may be suspended. You remain responsible for any unpaid fees.

Refund Policy

⚠️ Important: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. We do not provide prorated refunds for cancelled subscriptions.

Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances including:

  • Technical issues preventing service use for extended periods

  • Billing errors or unauthorized charges

  • Service materially different from advertised features

To request a refund: Submit your request within 30 days of the charge date to [email protected] with detailed reasoning.

Cancellation & Data Retention

You may cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days advance notice through:

  • You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period

  • Your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan

  • No prorated refunds are provided

You retain ownership of all credentials and documents you upload to CredFolio. We do not claim any ownership rights to your content.

⚠️ PHI Restriction: CredFolio is not yet HIPAA certified. Do NOT upload Protected Health Information (PHI) of third parties such as patient records. You may upload your own professional credentials at your own discretion.
