CredFolio makes it easy to upload and organize your professional credentials. Our AI automatically categorizes your documents and extracts key information like expiration dates and license numbers.

What Document Types Can I Upload?

You can upload these credential document types:

What File Formats Are Supported?

CredFolio supports these file formats:

  • PDF — Recommended for best AI extraction accuracy

  • Images — JPG, PNG, WebP

Tip: PDF files produce the most accurate AI extraction. If you have a paper document, use your phone's scanner app to create a PDF.

How Do I Upload Documents?

Method 1: Drag and Drop

  1. Open your Dashboard

  2. Drag files from your computer directly onto the upload area

  3. Wait for AI processing to complete

Method 2: Click to Upload

  1. Click the Upload button

  2. Select one or more files from your device

  3. Click Open to start the upload

What Happens After I Upload?

After you upload a document, CredFolio will:

  1. Classify the document — Identify what type of credential it is

  2. Extract key data — Pull out dates, numbers, names, and other important information

  3. Request confirmation — Ask you to verify the extracted data before saving

Important: Always review the AI-extracted information before confirming. While our AI is highly accurate, you should verify critical details like expiration dates and license numbers.

What Are the File Size Limits?

  • Maximum file size: 50 MB per file

  • Batch upload: Unlimited files (large batches are queued automatically)

Troubleshooting Upload Issues

Why Did My Upload Fail?

If your upload failed, check these common causes:

  • File size exceeds 50 MB

  • Unsupported file format

  • Unstable internet connection

  • Browser needs to be refreshed

Try using Chrome browser and clearing your cache if issues persist.

Why Couldn't the AI Extract My Data?

If AI extraction didn't work well, try these fixes:

  • Ensure the document is clear and readable

  • Avoid heavily watermarked documents

  • Re-scan at a higher resolution

  • You can always enter data manually if needed
