Welcome to CredFolio! This guide helps you set up your account and upload your first credential document in just a few minutes.
What is CredFolio?
CredFolio is an AI-powered credential management system designed for healthcare professionals. It automatically organizes your licenses, certifications, and CME credits—so you never miss a renewal deadline.
Quick Start Steps
Step 1: Create Your Account
To create your CredFolio account:
Go to credfolio.ai
Click Sign Up
Enter your email or sign in with Google
Verify your email address
Your account starts with a free 14-day trial of all Pro features.
Step 2: Set Up Your Profile
Complete your professional profile by adding:
Full name and degree — MD, DO, NP, PA, etc.
Professional information — Specialty, practice type
Primary practice state — Where you're licensed
NPI number — Optional but recommended for verification
Step 3: Upload Your First Document
To upload a credential document:
Click the Upload button on your dashboard
Select your document file (PDF or image)
Wait for AI processing to complete
CredFolio supports these document types:
Medical licenses
Board certifications
DEA certificates
CME certificates
Insurance documents
Diplomas and transcripts
Step 4: Review AI Extraction
After uploading, our AI automatically extracts key information from your document. Review the extracted data and click Confirm to save—or edit any details that need correction.
Tip: Upload documents as PDFs for the best AI extraction accuracy. Clear, high-quality scans work best.
